Avalanche Decision Making Quandaries !
These are mazes of decisions. Should you go, or postpone? Should you change your plan? Which way should you go? Etc. Each decision leads to a new one until you either have a trip which is successful to some degree or other or you get caught in an avalanche.
At this time we are working on spring climbing quandaries. Our first one is based (very loosely) on an actual high profile accident in the past. Others will also be based on real incidents, although some may not be. (We do not make any claims that these accurately reproduce reality, the actual incidents serve merely as guidelines and the decisions are representative of some of those the parties could have been faced with.)
