Three killed in Alpine avalanche

GRENOBLE, France, Jan 4 (Reuters) - Three French skiers were killed when an avalanche swept through their party of six in the Col du Galibier area high in the French Alps on Sunday, rescue officials said. They were aged between 28 and 30 years old.
