This Google map shows the location of all fatal US incidents during the 2022-23 season. There were 25 incidents and 30 fatalities. Click the icon at the top left to open a list on the left. Then you can click on the V next to our URL to open the description. Incident #25 on the map came to light in late summer and is listed as 12a in most places, based on the date it happened. Using 12a is not possible on Google Maps so it became #25 but is not the last incident of the season.
You can click on any incident either in the list or on the map to zoom in on it and read the description. There will be a link to the file in our archives. (There seems to be a quirk with Google in that the first one you click from the list may not zoom properly. After that it works correctly even for the same incident.)
