Avalanche Center Web Site Awards
Back in the early days the internet was a lot more fun and a lot more egalitarian. It was not dominated by monsters like Google and Facebook, and websites were not designed primarily to drive advertising views. Organizations and even individuals created their own awards to recognize sites they felt were excellent. We received numerous such awards at that time.
Unfortunately this aspect of the internet has been lost and this page is archival and somewhat of a memorium. We keep it posted because we are proud of each award no matter who issued it, and as a reminder of what the internet once was while it was still new.
